I Called It Tragedy # 2!

You wanna know why, baby?

You said tomorrow will be better than today, baby..
I really couldn’t have it any other way, baby..
You told me that yesterday, yet today things are the same, I couldn’t shake you off just like in yesterdays..
Is it fair for us to go our separate ways, baby?
I thought we love each other each and every day, baby?
But everymorning I wake up, your smile I cant shake off, I cant help myself, its you im thinking of.
And speakin of love, you’ll remember me.
As someone who loves you for who you’ll ever be.
Believe me though you hate me, I will never let you be.
You’re gonna need more reasons to get rid of me!

I know that you love me
I know that you crave for me
And so I know if I go, I’ll regret and I suppose, I said I’ll leave you but you know that’s a hoax!!
Now look at me, you still remember me, baby..
Remember that love was suppose to set us free, baby..
Who ever wrote that goddamn book, must’ve never understood I would pretend I don’t love you then if I could.
And should I go delete your number on my phonebook?
Or book a flight, and leave you to Beirut?
Bu you know love’s a weird thing, its stronger than anything.
How dare you claim that what I feel is just a fling?

You know I have nothing to offer, nothing I have is really what you need.
I cant be the person that you want me to be.
Come close to me I ask of you, baby..

I have something I want you to hear, I’d really want you to hear this and I will disappeare,

The girl that you would spend your times forever, maybe she will never be me.

Still I know that you’ll always have me with you, till forever leaves…

Speaking Of Ideally...

Ok, you wake up in the morning, you make the ideal plan for the day:

come to the office at 8,
lunch at 12,
work until 5,
and meet your friends around at 6 until 9 or 10,
then go home and sleep at 11.

That is how you plan your day.

Now, this is the not-so-ideal result:

come to the office at 8,
skip lunch because of the tight deadline,
new job for tomorrow morning,
so you work your ass off until the sun rises.

Yeah, life could give you surprises like that...

It's hard to make plan in your life, because of the little crossroads here and there.
You would love to meet your friends after work... but what can you do? Again and again, you feel sorry every time you didn't make it.
The thing is, more than often you'll be directed to the turn that you'll never expect.

The one that you're quasi sure that you'll never take.
The one you try to avoid.
Then somehow the Guy Upstairs redirect you...

The journey is long, so you try to expect those things to happen somehow, but then again don't expect much, because the surprise would be more beautiful when less expected.

And then you'll learn that the cliched "never say never" is true.

Speaking of Ideally, I think... If God is a DJ, just follow the beats and dance your life away... :)

Best Regards,
Irene Aninditta.

Aries on American Online Today, says...

"If you have been on a spending binge -- fiscal or energetic -- today you may finally realize that everything is stretched too thin. You might have rationalized your behavior because of your positive outlook on the future. Even if your career opportunities have grown, you are still tempted to inflate the potential. Stay on the safe side; if you commit too much, you may be sorry later on."

Good. Now I know what to do.

Add a Little Playfulness!

You know what?

Playfulness can save your soul.

Children really have a gift. They don't give a damn. They just have fun as much as they possibly can in whatever sitaution they are in. They are creative gods, rarely stuck, always seeing options and having fun with what they have got.

There is so much we can learn from them.

Just think back to your favourite childhood pastimes :

  • Play a game

  • Watch something that makes you giggle like a lil kid (balloon, fireworks or lollipop does it for me)

  • Watch a cartoon (Simpsons as my recommendation)

  • Do fingerpainting

  • Paint ur face like a tiger

  • Ask 'Why?' a lot

  • Have paper aeroplane competitions with your best friends

  • Pillow fight with your best friends

  • Build car from 'kulit jeruk bali!'

  • Anything else?

Hehehehe.....

Well, I have news for you.. LIFE ISN'T THAT SERIOUS!

It's a game just thrown for you.. So, let's play! :)

Best Regards,

Trans Jakarta Guide for Dummies

Here are my points... *based on my experiences!* :p

  • Wear your walking/running shoes, don't wear something like pointy toes. It might be comfortable now, but after a while, your toes will suffer. Believe me... Been there twice!
  • Don't wear sandal jepit, either. You might get lucky to have an empty bus, but otherwise the risk of being stepped upon is unreasonably high. Spare your toes the nasty experience.
  • If you have to stand, stand with your feet wide apart. Or you might fall into mas-mas's embrace when the driver hits the brake. Forget dainty. Choose dignity.
  • You know the man with a kupluk, moustache, beard, koko shirt and cingkrang pants who is concentrating on his read such as: "Tafsir Al-Mustafa"? He is the least likely type to give up his seat to anyone, not even a heavy-bag-lugging ibu-ibu.
  • If the driver hits the break, try best to step on the man's (in kupluk, moustache, beard, koko shirt and cingkrang pants) toes.
  • If you can, bring something to kill time, or even better to avoid the risk of getting caught sleeping with your mouth wide open. Book is good. *or.. even better!*
  • A woman is more likely to give an old lady her seat, even though her stop is still far away. A man would give someone his seat when his stop is next.
  • Not having an intention to undermine woman-busway-drivers, but prepare to jump pretty far to and from the bus, from and to the shelter whenever they drive.

Happy travelling with Trans Jakarta, fellas...
